Gear Flow stores your puzzle progress on your device. Ads and online leaderboards use services provided by Google and Apple. This page explains what the game sends, what stays local, and the choices available to you.
This policy covers Gear Flow: Mechanical Puzzles for Android and iOS and these support pages. For questions or privacy requests, contact the Gear Flow developer at andrei.rad@syncorm.com.
1. Information stored on your device
The game saves your current level and unfinished puzzle, moves and times, earned stars, completed challenges, hints, ad-removal status and settings such as sound volume and reduced motion. It also stores identifiers for processed rewards or purchases to avoid granting the same benefit twice.
This local save is used to resume play and keep your progress. It is not uploaded to a Gear Flow account server. Online leaderboards receive only the score totals described below. There is no separate Gear Flow account, password or cloud-save service.
2. Advertisements and privacy choices
Gear Flow uses Google AdMob for banner ads, occasional ads between levels and optional rewarded videos. Google’s advertising services can process your IP address and approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad views and interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, maintain its services and help detect invalid activity.
Google’s privacy messages present the choices that apply to you and ask for consent where required. Where available, open Settings → Privacy options to review or change your choices. Your device also offers advertising and privacy controls.
Google may process and share advertising information under its own policies, including with advertising partners. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google’s Android advertising data disclosure, and its iOS advertising data disclosure.
Removing banner and between-level ads does not disable optional rewarded videos or platform leaderboard services.
3. Google Play Games and Apple Game Center
On Android, Google Play Games may authenticate your existing platform profile when the app starts. On iOS, you can connect to Game Center from Leaderboards. The game can read your platform display name and submit three cumulative results: total stars, puzzles completed with three stars, and timed challenges completed without a rewarded continuation.
Scores are associated with your platform gaming profile. Your nickname and scores may be visible to other players through the platform’s leaderboard and privacy settings. The Android and iOS rankings are separate. Gear Flow does not request access to Google Drive, your contacts or email through its leaderboard connection.
Google and Apple also process information when you use their gaming services. Learn more in Google Play Games’ data disclosure and Game Center & Privacy.
4. Purchases and restoration
If you make or restore a purchase, the app uses product and transaction identifiers, store receipts or signed transaction confirmations, the device platform and restoration details to validate the purchase, deliver its benefits and prevent duplicate fulfillment. This information may be sent to a purchase-verification service for that purpose.
Google Play or the Apple App Store handles payment. Gear Flow does not ask for your payment-card details. Permanent purchase benefits and consumable hint balances are stored with your local game data; restoring a permanent purchase does not restore hints you have already used.
5. Support messages and this website
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate the issue and maintain the related support record. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details or unrelated personal information.
These pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts, embedded third-party content, external fonts or cookies set by the page itself. The hosting and email providers may process ordinary connection and delivery information, such as IP addresses and message headers, to operate their services. Following an external link opens a service governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Storage, deletion and your choices
- Local progress: stays on your device until the app replaces it or its stored data is removed. Operating-system backups may preserve or restore app data, depending on your device settings.
- Advertising: use the available in-game Privacy options and your device’s advertising controls. Google manages data it receives under its own retention and deletion policies.
- Leaderboard data: manage your gaming profile through Google Play Games or Game Center. Deleting the app’s local data does not automatically delete results already submitted to a platform.
- Support information: contact us to ask about access, correction or deletion of correspondence we hold. We keep it for handling the request and any necessary follow-up or applicable obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, objection or withdrawal of consent. Send requests to andrei.rad@syncorm.com. Requests involving data held independently by Google or Apple may need to be made through those services.
Google, Apple and hosting or email providers may process information outside your country. Their policies explain their processing locations and safeguards.
7. Families and changes to this policy
Gear Flow does not ask for a date of birth. Parents or guardians can contact us with privacy questions. Platform accounts and advertising services have their own age-related settings and rules.
We will update this page when the app’s data practices change and revise the date above. Where a change requires a new choice or consent, the applicable in-app process will provide it.
